Changing Losing Ways

I am pretty sure in Portland right now that fans are happy for once, but that probably won’t last long since the playoffs are far out of the picture for the Portland Trail Blazers who don’t have any excuses.

The Trail Blazer’s traveled over to New Orleans to take on the Hornets and beat them in the final score of 90-81.
"Losing beats you down," Abdur-Rahim said. "It feels good to win. It's good for everybody."
I believe Abdur-Rahim was talking about the Blazers loosing 10 in the row on the road and 15 out of 20, leaving only five wins for the past couple of weeks. In there outing Shareef Abdur-Rahim had 25 points and 10 rebounds and Damon Stoudamire had 19 points, Ruben Patterson added 16 buckets of his own and Travis Outlaw scored 13.

A Dismal Season

The season has not gone at all in Portland’s favor at all. The Trail Blazers lost 103-97 to the Nuggets Saturday night making 19 out of the last 22 games that Portland lost. That also means the interim coach Kevin Pritchard has just won two games since he became the head coach.

Damon Stoudamire led his team with 27 points, Shareef Abdur-Rahim added 20 points of his own, and Sebastian Telfair had 16 points and added a season high 10 assists for him self.

Maybe it the Blazers didn’t turn the ball over as much they would some games… or is that just me?
