Was Oden the right choice?
No one was surprised when the Portland Trail Blazers chose Greg Oden for their first round draft pick, but after a physical revealed no less than 3 injuries that may affect his game, his poor performance in practices and his being pulled after only 2 games to have his tonsils removed, they may start kicking themselves for losing Zach Randolph. The team hasn't even reached the playoffs since the 2002-03 season, and last season they finished a lackluster 3rd place in the Northwest Division. I bet they're wondering if they should have picked Durant....

Heck yes he was the right choice. We don't even need a guy like Durant. We have outside shooters, and soft, finesse type players. We need the bulk and power and intimidation from the inside. He WILL win championships with Portland. His knee is good and I am thrilled that we have Oden.
